Justin Timberlake Apologizes for Rude Reply to Jesse Williams BET Speech

Jesse Williams’ 2016 BET Humanitarian Award acceptance speech was the talk of everyone's life. His most memorable quote, “We’re done watching and waiting while this invention called whiteness uses and abuses us, burying black people out of sight and out of mind, while extracting our culture, our dollars, our entertainment like oil. Ghettoizing and demeaning our creations, then stealing them, gentrifying our genius, and then trying us on like costumes before discarding our bodies like rinds of strange fruit,” preached Jesse.
You'd assume we'd just leave that there right? Nope. There's a thing called freedom of speech and Justin Timberlake's rights were not appreciated. It started when Justin tweeted that Jesse’s speech left him "inspired."
One user called JT out, suggesting he stop ‘appropriating’ Black culture and apologize to Janet Jackson —  Justin replied, “Oh, you sweet soul. The more you realize that we are the same, the more we can have a conversation. Bye.”
And that's when things began to tumble and Twitter began to rumble. Justin tried to apologize…but it was too late to apologize. Check out the tweets below:

I feel misunderstood. I responded to a specific tweet that wasn't meant to be a general response. I shouldn't have responded anyway...

I forget this forum sometimes... I was truly inspired by@iJesseWilliams speech because I really do feel that we are all one... A human race

I apologize to anyone that felt I was out of turn. I have nothing but LOVE FOR YOU AND ALL OF US.

Sorry, Justin...I think you should have just sat this one out buddy....
